Filming taking place in Sturgeon Falls

Lights, camera, action!

The Municipality of West Nipissing says filming is taking place around the downtown core of Sturgeon Falls over the next few days, including in and around King and Queen streets.

Officials say production equipment is expected to arrive around 10 pm Thursday, with most of the vehicles parking in the lot by the Tribune.

Filming is set to take place most of Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evening around local businesses, with intermittent traffic interruptions anticipated in the late afternoon and evening on Saturday.

Closures on King and Queen will be taking place Sunday evening.

Along with restrictions to parking on the weekend, the town says Saturday night’s filming will also include a propane flame and some theatrical smoke as a staged vehicle crash will be taking place.

Officials say you can also expect some overnight noise.
