Laurentian Avenue access to Northgate temporarily closed

Drivers will only have one way in and out of Northgate Shopping Centre for a few days.

The city says Laurentian Avenue access to the shopping centre from Trout Lake Road is temporarily closed, as of today (Oct. 20).

Crews are installing underground communication cables across the access and complete final storm sewer connections as part of the ongoing Trout Lake Road reconstruction project.

Drivers will need to use the Fisher Street access to the mall during the closure.

Officials say Laurentian Avenue access is expected to reopen by the end of the day on Friday.
