‘Eat. Drink. Game On’ at Next Round Social

Officials with Next Round Social say a new chapter for entertainment is being written in North Bay.

A ribbon cutting was held Thursday, with Craig Burgess, owner, saying a major renovation transformed the former bowling and billiards centre into an entertainment hub.

“You’ll find 65-75 arcade games where you can win all sorts of prizes,” he says. “Pool tables, pool leagues, pool tournaments, gamified axe throwing with moving targets off the screen, 5-pin and 10-pin bowling.”

There’s also a pixel floor interactive game, dining spaces and a full-service menu, private karaoke suites, and two bars that include repurposed flooring from the former bowling lanes.

“Our motto is ‘Eat. Drink. Game On’,” says Burgess. “It starts with food and beverages and then there’s the entertainment component to it.”

He says they want to give people in the north who may not be outdoor enthusiasts another option.

“We thought with our experience in restaurants and games that we’d bring all the components together and help be part of the solution to create these exciting environments for the community,” says Burgess.

He says they have approximately 100 employees, with about half coming over from the former Partners’ operation.
