Four people from Timmins have been arrested by North Bay Police following a traffic stop for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. On August 3rd around noon, the four were inside a vehicle parked in the Marshall Park area when someone, believing they were doing drugs, called police.
A short time later on Main Street, police found the vehicle. They seized heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana with a street value of just over $50,000 but police don’t believe the drugs were intended for North Bay. Police also seized five folding knives, drug paraphernalia and a little more than $5,500 cash.
Two 28-year-old men, a 28-year-old woman, and a 39-year-old man are facing 35 total charges. All four accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing on August 4th.
