North Bay’s Mayor, along with city police and our local military base have released a joint statement following yesterday’s events in Ottawa. Police Chief Paul Cook says there is no indication that anyone is at risk in the North Bay and Callandar area. Mayor Al McDonald also says that residents should be vigilant after yesterday’s attacks by reporting any suspicious activity to police. All three parties offer their condolences following the death of Corporal Nathan Cirillo.
