There was an electrical short at King George Public School this morning. As a safety precaution, staff and students were evacuated by the fire department. North Bay Fire has recommended a four hour fire watch, so students will not be allowed back in the school for the rest of the day. Workers are on site are finding out the cause of short. Students will remain at Ecole Secondaire Catholique Algonquin until parents can be contacted to pick them up.
