The first baby born at North Bay Regional Health Centre in 2018 did not make his parents wait long.
This according to health centre communications department manager Kim McElroy.
At just 10 minutes past midnight, parents Dawn McLeod and Nathan Woolcott welcomed their baby boy.
The first baby of 2018 weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces at birth.
