North Bay Hydro just got a little bigger. The utility is buying Espanola Regional Hydro which provides power to the town as well as surrounding communities like Massey. All the players still have to finalize the deal which involves creating a definitive agreement. Once the acquisition is complete, the number of North Bay Hydro customers grows by 3,289. The deal does not include the Domtar Paper Mill which has its own power grid.
