Police Service operating budget closes with surplus

The North Bay Police Service closed their 2013 operating budget with a surplus. The exact number was confirmed at yesterday’s board meeting. So, just over $180 000 will be transferred to a general police purposes account. Police Chief Paul Cook tells The Moose that it will be used to fund their vested sick bank liability.
