Leave extra time if you regularly travel the area around Cassells Street and the Highway 11/17 bypass.
The City of North Bay’s public works department advises that Cassells Street will be closed from Olive Street to Chippewa Street, beginning at 9:00am today for asphalt repairs at the intersection of Cassells and Olive.
A detour will be in place as follows:
- Westbound traffic will be detoured from Cassells, right turn onto Olive Street, left to High Street, left to Chippewa Street, and then back onto Cassells.
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured onto Chippewa Street to Fisher Street and then onto the bypass.
The closure and detours are expected to last the entire day. Updates will be provided, when available.
