A few weeks ago, the owners of the Kabuki House Restaurant teased local Japanese cuisine lovers about a possible return.
The two say there are details yet to be worked out but Kabuki House owner Masa Nagasawa and TW Foods co-owner Thorsten von Estorff have confirmed that a selection of Chef Nagasawa’s lunch favourites plus Kabuki’s famous salad dressing are now available at the TW Foods location on Main Street East.

A March fire caused $400,000 in damages to the beloved downtown restaurant and the building had to be demolished in June. Well-wishes poured in from the community and beyond. Nagasawa said last week that while he would not be rebuilding the restaurant, he is not quite ready to retire yet, much to the delight of local Kabuki House lovers who feared one of their favourite places to eat, entertain and celebrate had been closed for good.
