Executive director Katina Connolly was in attendance on behalf of the Capitol Centre as Finance Minister and MPP Vic Fedeli announced funding for local businesses in Nipissing.
The Capitol Centre has received $92,427 to help pay for a specialized sound system in the performing arts facility in order to attract bigger acts and meet the needs of rental clients.
The new line array has been in use since the spring and Connolly says touring artists have noticed the difference when coming to North Bay to perform.
