With traffic already being re-routed to avoid the Cassells Street reconstruction project, this weekend one branch of those detours will be unavailable to motorists.
Starting Saturday, the Cassells Street detour at High Street will be temporarily closed until the end of the day Sunday due to work on a gas main.
Enbridge Gas will be making necessary repairs to its gas main at the intersection of High Street and Stones Street.
The Cassells Street detour will be re-established after the work has been completed.
During this period, local traffic will be permitted for access to properties including residential homes, businesses, and local churches.
