Another weekly star for the Voodoos

Week 5 of the NOJHL schedule has come and gone, and the Powassan Voodoos have picked up their fourth weekly star.

This week it belongs to Gregory Trudeau-Paquet. The former French River Rapids and Kirkland Lake Gold Miners star scored three times in two games, including twice on the powerplay. Trudeau-Paquet also set up another goal.

The 20-year-old Sudbury native’s output helped the Voodoos win both games on their schedule the past week, running their total to eight, which matches Trudeau-Paquet’s current point streak.

Over his NOJHL career, the lightning-fast forward has produced at over a point a game pace, scoring 77 goals with 80 assists for 157 points in 131 games.

The other weekly stars saw Owen Say, former Voodoo Gabby Kioki and Captain Parker Bowman take home the honours. Say also picked up goaltender of the month for September.
