The North Bay Police Service has charged a 28-year-old man with dangerous driving and weapons offences.
This after allegations that a victim was followed on Friday night, then confronted at their residence.
Police say the victim then followed the accused to the 200-block of Princess Street West where an altercation ensued.
It’s further alleged a weapon was thrown at the victim, who was then followed again before the suspect’s car crashed into a curb.
The 28-year-old was charged with:
- One count of Assault with a Weapon
- One count of Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purposes
- One count of Operating a motor vehicle without insurance
- One count of Turn Not in Safety
- One count of Driver fail to surrender licence
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to attend the North Bay Courthouse on July 20, 2021.
