The OPP’s requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-Wide-Warrant who is known to frequent our area.
Police say 60-year-old Steve Mavis is described as an indigenous male, who’s 5’10” and 200lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. Police say he has a number of tattoos including: a Symbol on the left side of his neck, the word “TAT”, “OLD SCHOOL” and a cross on his left arm, a crown on his left ring finger. On his right upper arm he has a Horned Ghoul, on his right forearm a snake, and on his right wrist a witch.
Police are looking for him because he breached his statutory release.
He’s currently serving a five-year and 1-month sentence for 3 counts of drug trafficking among other charges.
