Police reminding public to keep their eyes on their wallets after local thefts

Police are warning the public to not leave their wallet or purse unattended after they’ve been notified of two thefts at local grocery stores.

The North Bay Police Service says on two occasions this month, they’ve recieved reports of wallets being stolen from purses as the victims were shopping, with their cards then being used at other businessess.

City police say there are two suspects involved, with one distracting the victim as the other steals the wallet.
