Missing gun recovered by city police

A missing firearm’s been relocated by the North Bay Police Service.

It stems from an investigation earlier this week, involving a stolen vehicle and two stolen guns.

North Bay Police Service Corporate Communications Officer, Merv Shantz, says the vehicle and one firearm were recovered on Sunday, while the second firearm, a Browning B-L-R Lever-action 30.06, was recovered by police early Tuesday morning.

A 49-year-old North Bay woman is facing several charges in relation to the incident… and has been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing.
