The NOJHL championship series continues tonight as the Powassan Voodoos travel to Blind River to take on the Beavers in Game Three. The Voodoos currently lead the series 2-0. Powassan won 4-1 in Game 1 and 3-2 in Game 2. Puck drop tonight is set for 7:00pm. Game 4 goes tomorrow night in Blind River and Powassan is organizing a fan bus to take fans right to the action. The bus will leave from North Gate shopping center at 12:00pm to head to Blind River, and the cost for the bus and ticket to the game is $60.

Voodoos forward Parker Bowman and goaltender Nate McDonald have been named two of three NOJHL stars of the week. Bowman had three points in the first two games of the finals, and currently leads all skaters in playoff goals with 10 and is third in points with 18. McDonald, a North Bay native, won the first two games of the final and has won 10 straight in the playoffs. McDonald is leading all goalies in playoff GAA at 1.71 and is third overall in SV% at .938.
