A city police Street Crimes Unit investigation has taken nearly $200,000 worth of suspected drugs off the street.

That includes suspected cocaine, MDMA and cannabis.

A 32-year-old from North Bay and two people from Coniston are facing drug trafficking charges and more.

Police say search warrants were executed on Marshall Park Drive and in Coniston.

“Our Street Crime Unit played a critical role in this investigation, disrupting a significant supply of illicit drugs moving through multiple jurisdictions,” says Inspector Scott McFarlane. “We are grateful to our partners at the Greater Sudbury Police Service for their assistance and collaboration, which was instrumental in achieving this successful outcome. Together, we remain committed to protecting our communities by targeting those who profit from the drug trade.”

Also seized was nearly $38,000 in cash and a vehicle.
