City advises of traffic impact with Trout Lake Road reconstruction

Traffic controls will be in place starting today (July 6) as part of the reconstruction of Trout Lake Road between Highway 11/17 and Kingsway Avenue.

The City of North Bay says Trout Lake Road will remain open with one lane in each direction.

“The north leg of Laurentian Avenue will be closed, and traffic will be detoured via Bank Street and McKay Avenue, while access to the south leg into the Northgate Shopping Centre will remain open,” states a post on social medial.

Officials say temporary side-street closures may also be required where access can be maintained.
