Area filming includes use of prop SWAT vehicles

If you see some out of the ordinary SWAT vehicles on your Monday morning commute, don’t be alarmed.

The North Bay Police Service says a film production’s taking place between 8 am and 1 pm today (July 6) in the Cassells and Second Avenue West area, and the 100 block of Giroux Street this evening.

Police say you may notice prop SWAT and police vehicles, along with people carrying replica firearms.

But they advise they’re all part of the filming and don’t pose a threat to public safety.
