Monday’s McNamara Street fire deemed suspicious

Monday afternoon’s fire on McNamara Street has been deemed suspicious.
Fire Chief Jason Whiteley says they got the call a little after 3:00 p.m., and were on-scene until after 7:00 p.m.
There were no injuries reporter, however the two adjacent units were also affected because of the smoke, with victim services helping get them into hotel rooms for the night.

There is currently no estimate for the amount of damage done.

Whiteley says the Fire Marshall’s office, police and North Bay Fire are still investigating.
