Nipissing hosting Fall Open House on Saturday

Hundreds of prospective students will be visiting Nipissing University this weekend.

The university is hosting its annual Fall Open House from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.

Officials say the event provides an immersive opportunity to experience the University’s academic programs, facilities, and campus community.

They say those in attendance can connect with faculty, staff, and current students to gain an authentic perspective on the Nipissing student experience.

“We look forward to welcoming prospective students and their supporters to our beautiful campus to experience the welcoming and supportive environment that makes Nipissing unique,” says Dr. Kevin Wamsley, President and Vice-Chancellor at Nipissing University. “Our faculty, staff, students, and alumni are eager to share their experiences, answer questions, and help future students envision themselves as part of our community.”

Along with drop-in program information sessions, there is a student support fair, and opportunities to learn about services, including residence, financial aid, and more.

Officials say guided tours of the campus and residence will showcase Nipissing’s state-of-the-art facilities, student-centred spaces, and scenic campus setting.
