North Bay receives another $411,000 in casino revenues

Another $411,037 in casino revenue has been added to the city’s coffers.

This after the city received a second quarter payment from Ontario Lottery and Gaming for hosting Cascades Casino North Bay.

Since the gaming site opened in March 2022, the city has received more than $7.2 million.

“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement provides North Bay with a share of local casino revenue to invest and enhance our community,” says Vic Fedeli, Nipissing MPP. “Gaming facilities generate economic activity, support local jobs and investment, and provide revenue that helps fund priorities that are important to the people of Ontario.”

The money is used as a funding source for community capital projects.
