North Bay city council gets together tonight, the committee meeting of council is cancelled so the regular meeting gets underway at 6:30pm. A couple of agenda highlights include a report about the timelines for the 2018 budget, and year-end financial projections for water and sewer in the city.
One of the bigger topics up for debate tonight is a report talking about potentially replacing West Ferris Arena, an issue that’s been on the back burner for months. Council will also address installing an All-Way Stop at Main Street West and Cassells Street. The reports says the intersection meets the collision warrant for implementation of all-way stop control. Two by-laws are also up for consideration as well, including one to amend the on-street parking by-law.
