Don’t put those garbage bags bursting from Christmas morning at the curb too early. Your garbage and recycling day will fall one day later over the holidays.
The City of North Bay is advising that there will be no waste or blue box collection on Monday, December 25th and Monday, January 1st.
Garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for both weeks.
For instance, if your regular collection day is Monday, for those two weeks, it will be Tuesday. If your assigned day is Friday, the collection will occur on Saturday for both holiday weeks.
The landfill will also be closed Monday, December 25th and Monday, January 1st and will reopen the next day (Tuesday) both weeks of the holidays.
