Police wrap

A local 22-year-old man has been arrested after his vehicle was checked over the weekend. Police say the man had brass knuckles and a shotgun with loose shells in his car. And investigation revealed allegations that earlier this month he had been pointing the shotgun at people and threatening them. He’s being held in custody waiting for a bail hearing.

Meanwhile, over the weekend the North Bay Police responded to a total of 199 calls for service. Eighteen arrests were made. Some of the offences included domestic assault, impaired driving and public intoxication.
