The words ‘Winter is coming’ no longer faze Farmers’ Market

The North Bay Farmers’ Market’s third winter season opens Saturday.

Organizers say the growth the market has experienced is thanks to the citizens of North Bay, who have supported the local farmers and small business owners the past two winters. To continue the growth, the Farmers’ Market will expand into a second retail space at their location in the North Bay Mall at 300 Lakeshore Drive to provide market-goers with a wider selection of vendors.

Every Saturday, the market will be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

You will find “MyPick Verified” producers at the market. They have adapted to grow produce in greenhouses, ensuring consumers can still get fresh produce during the winter months. Of course, food staples such as fresh baking, maple syrup, jams and jellies, and local meat products will also be available. Some of the local artisans are also returning to provide you with local handmade items.

Information is subject to change, for updated vendor and market information see the market’s website and Facebook page.
