Local detective joins investigation into missing Ottawa woman

The North Bay Police Service is assisting the Ottawa Police Missing Persons Unit with an ongoing investigation.

The subject of the investigation is Tara Sculptor, a 34-year-old female from Ottawa, who has been missing since June 1, when she was last seen boarding a bus in Ottawa destined for North Bay. The Ottawa Police Service is actively pursuing leads as to her whereabouts.

The Ottawa Police Missing Persons Unit says it is unclear whether Sculptor made it to her destination or got off the coach somewhere along the way and any piece of information about that bus trip could be useful in creating or eliminating leads.

Sculptor is described as 5-foot-6, 180 pounds, with green eyes, auburn shoulder-length hair. She also has visible scarring on face and body.
