Police report early morning ‘targeted attack’

The North Bay Police Service is investigating an incident involving “injuries to multiple persons.”

Police advise, “This was a targeted attack and there is no threat to public safety.”

Shortly before 4 :00am today, NBPS responded to an address on McIntyre Street East in North Bay after receiving a report of a man requiring medical assistance.

The North Bay Forensic Identification Unit is assisting the Criminal Investigation Section in this active investigation, resulting in increased police presence in the downtown area of the city.
