Eat, Think, Vote set for tomorrow

Eat, think, vote.

That will be the next chance to get out and mingle with the local candidates for the federal election and it happens tomorrow night at the Elk’s Lodge.

Food Secure Canada is coordinating events such as this across the country in the build-up to next week’s election. The goal is to help the public how the federal food policy affects them locally and to bring their concerns to the attention of the candidates.

The topics being posed to the candidates include sustainable food systems, food insecurity, Indigenous food sovereignty, healthy school food and many more.

The event runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
