It was another successful McHappy Day for the three local McDonald’s restaurants in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls. In total they raised $11, 057 which is 31 per cent more than they did last year.
Half of the money will go towards the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto. Another $5,585 will go to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation’s Child and Adolscent Mental Health Unit. A total of 4.4-million dollars was raised across Canada in the annual event.
