A bear was seen at Nipissing University this morning. People are asked to be cautious if they are travelling around campus today.
If you have a close encounter with a bear, the province suggests yelling, throwing objects, and using a horn or bear spray to try and get it to leave. They also suggest travelling in groups of two while in bear country, and scanning your surroundings.
