They included Airport Road, Carmichael Drive, Lakeshore Drive, Pinewood Park Drive, Sage Road, and Ski Club Road.

· Driver – Fail to Properly Wear Seatbelt

Officers also issued fourteen 72-hour warning notices for offences including fail to surrender licence, fail to have insurance card, driving with an expired licence, obstructed licence plate, drive without proper rear light, and illegally dark window tint.

“While this week’s enforcement efforts showed strong results, we recognize the traffic safety concerns raised by our community and remain focused on proactive enforcement and education to improve road safety throughout the year,” says A/Insp. Long.

Local elementary students also shared their traffic safety concerns through artwork, participating in the Think of Me Campaign.

North Bay Police also say there were six collisions during Canada Road Safety Week, which was down a third compared to the previous week.
