New police inspector in North Bay

The North Bay Police Service is welcoming a new inspector.

Vince Corrente began his career with city police in 2004, and has served in various units, including patrol, fraud, digital forensics and as a drug recognition expert.

Officials say he later advanced to Sergeant and Staff Sergeant, as a leader in the Patrol Section while also serving as President of the North Bay Police Association.

“As you begin a new chapter in your career and rise to the rank of Inspector, we thank you for your many years of dedicated service,” says Chief Daryl Longworth. “We look forward to many more years of your leadership and service to the North Bay community.”

Police say Corrente is highly respected by his peers, is known for his strong leadership, approachability, organization and commitment to member wellness and advocacy.
