More than just comics at North Bay Comicon

If your Spidey senses are tingling, it might be because Comicon returns to North Bay on Saturday.

Officials say there will be multiple rooms and more vendor tables with everything from toys, games, collectibles, trading cards, and, of course, comic books.

It takes place from 10 am to 4 pm, at the Best Western on Lakeshore Drive.

Guests include Gemini-award winning actress Catherine Disher, who’s also known for voicing Jean Grey in X-Men: The Animated Series and actor George Buza, the voice of Beast in X-Men: The Animated Series and Santa in A Christmas Horror story.

Admission to the event is $5, or free for children 12 and under.

Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters and bring along a donation for the food bank, too.
