As the local provincial police service embarks on its distracted driving campaign that spans the March Break, the February report and stats are in from the local OPP.
During the month of February, the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 498 calls for service including the following incidents:
- 8 Impaired Driving Incidents
- 51 Motor Vehicle Collisions
- 6 Violent Crimes
- 11 Property Crimes
- 4 Drug-Related Occurrences
North Bay OPP officers completed over 1,000 hours patrolling the local highways, as well as in our communities.
