Former ‘A Tribe Called Red’ member Ian Campeau to speak at NU

Ian Campeau, also known as DJ NDN, will be speaking tomorrow evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Nipissing University Theatre (F213).

Campeau is the co-founder and a former member of the music group ‘A Tribe Called Red’. He is Ojibwe, Anishinaabe from the Nipissing First Nation.

Organizers say through a “powerful combination of art and activism, Campeau uses his notoriety to draw attention to issues of racism, gender-based violence, stigmas of mental health, and other forms of oppression.”

This event is free, accessible and open to everyone. It is hosted jointly by the Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU) and Nipissing University.
