Significant Weather Event ended in West Nipissing

The Municipality of West Nipissing says the Significant Weather Event declared on Monday has been lifted.

Officials say crews continue their work to maintain and restore the municipality’s roads and sidewalks to normal conditions.

They’re extending a special thank you to the winter maintenance team for their hard work and dedication in keeping roads safe during the challenging storm.

While thanking residents for their patience and cooperation, the municipality says drivers and pedestrians should remain cautious, because conditions may still be slippery.
