The North Bay Battalion hammered the Flint Firebirds 6-0 last night at Memorial Gardens. Goaltender Julian Sime made 35 saves in the shutout, his first since joining the Troops late in November.
Justin Brazeau had two goals, and Brett McKenzie had the game winner. The two top teams in the Eastern Conference battle as the Battalion travel to Oshawa to take on the Generals.
