Northern Ontario’s worst roads revealed

The votes are in.

CAA Northern Ontario Region’s 12 worst roads (10 plus ties) includes only one from North Bay — Lakeshore Drive, tied for ninth.

CAA’s annual campaign reveals the worst road for the Northern Ontario region is Regent Street in Sudbury.

The list also includes eight roads in Greater Sudbury, two located in Timmins and one in Sault Ste. Marie.

Northern Region Top 10 Worst Roads 2019 (and ties):

  1. Regent Street, Greater Sudbury
  2. Lorne Street, Greater Sudbury
  3. Bay Street, Sault Ste. Marie
  4. Frood Road, Greater Sudbury
  5. Kingsway, Greater Sudbury
  6. Algonquin Boulevard East, Timmins
  7. Maley Drive, Greater Sudbury
  8. Paris Street, Greater Sudbury
  9. Algonquin Boulevard West, Timmins tied with
    Lakeshore Drive, North Bay
  10. Barrydowne Road, Greater Sudbury tied with
