Four people are facing stunt driving charges after being pulled over by the North Bay OPP last weekend.

Three of the incidents involved speeds between 66 km/h and 70 km/h over the posted limits on Highway 17 in Rutherglen, Bonfield Township, and 17 West in North Bay.

Provincial police say the other involved a commercial vehicle clocked going 115 km/h in a 70 zone on Highway 17 in Rutherglen.

Drivers from Quebec (aged 60), Petawawa (aged 18) and two from Sudbury (aged 21 and 28) saw their licences suspended for 30 days, and their vehicles impounded for 14 days.

The North Bay OPP is reminding motorists that excessive speed continues to be a contributing factor in many fatal and serious injury collisions across Ontario.
